The history of ONE LUV Car Club:
It all started around 1992 in conjunction with the Rodney King Riots in the greater West Las Vegas area. This area is known as the Nucleus  of  Black Las Vegas. This area housed many
Black neighborhoods, churches, and the historical "Nucleus Plaza" shopping
center. This area was also the central hub for Black entertainers in the 1960's that
were not allowed to stay on the Las Vegas Strip after performing.

THE RIOT: Similar to Los Angeles, Black Americans in this community also
shared the same experiences in their communities. After the verdict, hundreds over turned cars, protested, rioted, and vandalize surrounding areas in anger of the courts decision.

The long days ensuing riot turned out to be historically rejuvenating.   Before  the  riots, many Black
neighborhoods stood divided and fought.  With peace in the air, hundreds of Westside and North Town friends and rivals participated in the week long rotating block parties that occurred every night in different neighborhoods. Hugging, laughing, dancing, talking, plotting, and sharing was a nightly practice. On any given night, lowriders always stole the show. In the mix of things, there were two guys from allied blue/green neighborhoods. Jim  (Regal Estates aka State Playboys), and Marcus (Gerson Park aka Gerson Park Kings).  These two met and soon became cruising buddies and good friends.

DARKSIDE CC: In 1994, Marcus and Jim linked up with rival riders Laurence and JJ of Berkley Square. Several weeks later, the first stage of ONE LUV was born.... "DARKSIDE CC.". With OG. riders Laurence and BoBo leading the club, DARKSIDE revived the dieing Las Vegas lowrider scene. Outside of DARKSIDE, there was only one other serious club... Tiempo CC. (Much props). As time went on, DARKSIDE  had good years and some bad years. Around 1996, DARKSIDE began to take a horrible turn for the worst. With people beginning to drop out, a emergency meeting was held and Jim Brown was pushed to the vice president position to try to save the clubs integrity. Unfortunately! The mighty DARKSIDE CC. crashed.

NOTE: Similar to the Stylistics CC. of Los Angeles, DARKSIDE CC. turn out to be the mother club of many Las Vegas based clubs.  Through it's inspiration and ex-members, the collapse of DARKSIDE sent many ex-members scattering throughout the valley joining and starting new clubs. Kasper Park CC., Classic Family Ties TC., Boss Riders CC., Royals CC., Street Players CC., and of course ONE LUV CC.  They all contain dynamics and components of DARKSIDE.

ONE 1 LUV CC: The year was now 1997,  fellow riders Marcus Allen and Alben were away in Barber School.

Preceding a upsetting DARKSIDE meeting, Jim Brown made the disturbing phone call that it was over for him also, (Jim) "Dawg! I'm gone. Done deal for me... Now Marvin, Pat and Reggie are gone. (Marcus) :Well!  Who is still there with cars? (Jim) "Big Will, Dee Dee, Martin, Laurence, JJ, and Larry. (Marcus)  "Man just wait until we get back" (Jim) "I don't think you understand.. it's over". After arguing for another 20 minutes, Jim hung in there for another 3-weeks before resigning. When Marcus and Alben returned on a track break, the decision was made to start their own club. After two hits of the chronic, Alben uttered "FUCK IT!!!! ONE LUV, and the name took flight.  As they returned to Barber School, Jim was left with the hard part of recruiting. Jim first reached out to DARKSIDES ex-members  like Bump, Pat, Reggie, One Switch Rick, Marvin, Ben, Dee Dee, Martin, and Les. He also wanted Laurence, Big Will, and JJ. but new deep down they wouldn't come. The facts were, is that DARKSIDE had so many members, it needed breaking down and rebuilding with guys and girls that had cars.  Stuck in the numbers game, Laurence, BoBo, and Jim lost control of the club. In his recruiting attempts, some of the ex-members came and brought other solo riders with them to form ONE LUV.

Currently! ONE LUV members are breaking records, setting trends and have gain world wide recognition.
